Prayer of the Day

Sunday

Thank God for all opportunities for worship.

For the great varieties of ways open to us, loud and boisterous, meditatively and quiet.

For the power of stirring Liturgy.

The gospel simply told.

Pray for our Church Worship this morning, that it will be linked with Christian praise in all its diverse forms throughout the world.

That it will be acceptable to Our Heavenly Father.

Welcome !

We are a Local Ecumenical Partnership of Anglicans, Baptists, Methodists and United Reformed Church.  We don't have a conventional church building

We meet every Sunday at 11.00 at Caversham Park Primary School, Caversham, READING RG4 6RP

(Please don't try to contact us there, it only wastes time for the school and us).

We warmly welcome you to join us.  Our services are usually fairly informal, and follow the practices of any of our denominations.

For Anglican purposes we are part of the benefice of St Barnabas, Emmer Green with Caversham Park. The Vicar is the Reverend Derek Chandler. We work closely with St Barnabas and also with Caversham Baptist Church and the Caversham Methodist Churches - there are links to their websites on the right.

Our sponsoring body is Churches Together in Berkshire.

Our Vision Statement:

We are a Church wanting to be:

A community in tune with God, and growing in Him

Channels of God’s love, sharing and providing a base for friendship and care

Encouraging, empowering and supporting the gifts of others by word and deed

Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ and His love to the people of Caversham Park, inviting them to join with us in new beginnings in Him

Working with and serving the community.
